Amanda L Smith, a Pacific Northwest native began her career as a staff photographer for The Spokesman-Review before leaving to work for The Seattle Times.

Amanda's works graces the pages of various publications including ESPN, Shape, Sports Illustrated, Bloomberg, The Associated Press and the New York Times. Amanda was chosen by Pulitzer Prize winner Brian Lanker to work as his lead photography assistant.

In June 2009, Amanda launched Amanda L Smith Photography which focuses on her award-winning journalistic approach to capturing life's important moments with her unique flare. She strives to remind us all of life's moments are important.
